We aim to keep our customer's companies, computers, and networks running at peak performance 24/7 by being proactive in our support and monitoring processes. We manage, sell, and support everything a modern business needs, like IP phones, network equipment, security appliances, and everything in between. We have been helping businesses manage their IT and technology needs for over 20 years.

We seek a skilled computer technician with intermediate technical expertise to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical support to our customers, troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues, and maintain computer systems and networks.

THIS IS NOT AN ENTRY-LEVEL POSITION; WE NEED SOMEONE WITH AN INTERMEDIATE SKILL SET OR BETTER.

Also, please be aware that a degree or certificate in networks or firewalls DOES NOT COUNT TOWARDS EXPERIENCE . We are seeking someone who has been in the network admin role and has had hardware firewall experience such as SonicWall or similar. Your work history must show where you have already done these things successfully.

Specifics:

• Experience in network support (hands-on, not theoretical)
• Basic understanding of VMware and Sonicwalls
• Previous experience using active directory and its related technologies
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Some experience with hardware firewalls such as Cisco and Sonicwall
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• A commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
• This work can get physical, moving IT equipment and working around and under many objects. Please be sure you are up to the challenge.

Additional Responsibilities: Providing technical support to customers, both in person and over the phone ; Troubleshooting computer hardware and software issues; Installing and configuring computer hardware and software ; Performing system maintenance and updates; Managing and maintaining computer networks ; Documenting technical problems and solutions Collaborating with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in computer science or related field preferred 1+ years of experience in computer hardware and software troubleshooting and maintenance; Proficiency in Windows and server operating systems ; Familiarity with computer networking, including LANs and WANs; Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and other typical software applications Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds . Ability to work in confined spaces. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods .* Ability to climb ladders.*

A reliable car, a valid driver's license, and insurance are required.
