Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Roofing Estimator with proficiency in EDGE Estimating Software . The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of commercial roofing systems, materials, and installation methods, along with the ability to prepare accurate, timely, and competitive estimates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial roofing projects.
• Utilize EDGE Estimating Software to produce accurate and professional proposals.
• Perform material take-offs and calculate labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Collaborate with project managers, sales, and operations teams to ensure bids meet client expectations and company standards.
• Identify potential risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
• Maintain and update pricing databases for materials and labor rates.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and project walk-throughs as required.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of commercial roofing estimating experience.
• Proficiency in The EDGE Estimating Software (required).
• Strong knowledge of various commercial roofing systems (e.g., TPO, EPDM, PVC, metal, BUR).
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
