Job Description

Overview Clinical Data Manager role at Voronoi Inc. Responsibilities Portfolio Strategy, Planning and Delivery: ensure data management timelines and results align with scope, cost and time objectives, synchronizing deliverables with overall study timelines. Project Management: lead all aspects of the data management lifecycle from study/system start-up, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), routine data reviews, database lock and close-out with minimal guidance; manage data acquisition, database design, and observed dataset requirements in reflection of the protocol; oversee end-to-end data management activities from study setup through trial execution to dataset delivery. Data Management Oversight: monitor and provide quality oversight of sourcing providers; ensure vendor performance across the program, including niche vendors and data sources (pharmacokinetic, biomarker); review and approve data flow designs and key outputs (Data Quality Delivery Plan, Data Lock Plan, Project Plan, database and observed datasets). Data Quality and Submissions: define and approve data quality and submission outputs; ensure data deliverables are accurate and aligned with project hypotheses. Standards and Integration: specify data collection tools and technology platforms; drive standards decisions, implementation and compliance; facilitate integration of disparate data sources into decision-ready datasets. Communication: act as the primary communication point for all data management activities; collaborate across teams; report status of milestones and data quality; coordinate with external data vendors to import and load external datasets into the sponsor’s database; present data and analytics considerations to stakeholders to drive data-driven decisions. Process Improvement: continually seek to reduce cycle time and effort; represent data sciences processes in cross-functional initiatives; engage in shared learning; work with partners to improve vendor efficiencies. Qualifications Degree in a scientific field such as Informatics/Analytics, Life Sciences, Statistics, Information Technology, Epidemiology, Computer Sciences. At least 5 years of experience as a clinical data manager at a sponsor or CRO. Knowledge of clinical data management skills including data flow, data quality & integrity, data interchange, data mining, and data representation principles; ability to review data for consistency and accuracy. Experience with programming languages/tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Python, SAS, R, Shiny, plus P-SQL/T-SQL for DBMS. Society of Clinical Data Management certification (preferred).
