About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff, Commercial to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to design and execute commercial strategies, manage key commercial relationships, and build the necessary commercial metrics and sales forecasts. This role is pivotal in guiding the day-to-day operations, supporting the COO in driving commercial activities, and ensuring the success of the commercial function. Responsibilities include owning the commercial CRM, project managing commercial priorities, serving as a proxy to the COO in commercial matters, and supporting commercial account management. The Chief of Staff will also be involved in building and maintaining opportunity forecasts, managing sales meetings, and driving the OKR process for the sales and marketing team. Candidates for this role should have a background in a commercial or sales enablement role, with a preference for experience in the ingredient industry. The ideal candidate will be passionate about solving complex problems, have a proven track record in analytics and reporting, and be adept at quickly learning new concepts. A fast-paced, ever-changing environment is where they thrive, and they must possess exceptional project management, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in sales forecasting, financial modeling, and experience with sales CRMs, particularly Hubspot, is highly preferred. The role requires a detail-oriented, results-driven individual with excellent communication, organization, and time management skills, who is also passionate about improving the health and well-being of people across all life stages.
