Job Purpose:
To support the success of our customers by accurately weighing batches of chemicals in a timely manner, ensuring quality and efficiency in production.

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday
• 6:00AM-2:30PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Weigh batches daily as per production requirements, ensuring chemicals are weighed in the correct order.
• Accurately document all weighing transactions on the batch record.
• Properly label and store weighed batches on designated racks.
• Verify part numbers and lot numbers to ensure the correct chemicals are weighed.
• Ensure correct quantities of chemicals are weighed and correct any errors according to SOPs.
• Verify chemicals prior to relocation and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory adjustments and cycle count as necessary.
• Keep work area clean and sanitized, following cleaning logs and procedures.
• Ensure utensils and equipment are always cleaned and sanitized.
• Implement and maintain lean standards to eliminate waste and enhance efficiency.
• Apply "lean tools" to improve processes and sustain 5-S practices (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain).
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years in chemical preweighing, chemical handling, or a similar environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic math skills, including working with fractions and decimals.
• Ability to operate computers for email and printing forms.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Certified to operate both stand-up and sit-down forklifts.
• Continuous bending, squatting, reaching, lifting, and standing for up to 6 hours per day.
• Frequent lifting and moving of objects up to 50 lbs.
• Good eyesight, normal hearing, and fluency in the English language are required.
• Indoor environment, with occasional exposure to hot and humid conditions.
• Exposure to fragrances or alcohol fumes at times.
• Flexible work hours; may require 5-20 additional hours based on business needs.
