Hillyard is hiring CDL A Regional Dry Van/Reefer Drivers in St. Joseph, MO . Drivers will be delivering floor care products & janitorial supplies in 53ft heated dry van trailers & reefer trailers throughout the United States, primarily in the East. Compensation

• Average annual pay: $97,000
• Top driver pay: $100,000+
  • Base 59 CPM
  • Mileage varies throughout the year with more mileage during spring/summer and less mileage during fall/winter
  • Paid for all miles using hub miles
  • Stop pay: $30 per stop for Hillyard product, $45 per stop for broker load
• Bonuses:
  • Sign on/retention bonus: $2,500
  • Referral bonus: $2,500
  • Annual performance bonus
  • Annual tenure bonus
• Paid via direct deposit biweekly

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Time: Home 2-3 nights weekly
• Schedule: Leave Sunday, home Thursday or Friday
  • Trips average 4 delivery drops and a return load from the final stop
• Route: 48 states, primarily east of the Mississippi River
  • No NYC proper
• Level of Touch: Occasional unloading using pallet jack, power dolly, or electric forklift

Equipment

• 2022 and newer Penske full service lease trucks
• Automatic transmission
• Governed speed: 65 mph on the pedal, 68 mph on cruise
• ELD equipped using Trimble system
• Amenities: APU, inverter, refrigerator, company paid SiriusXM radio

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
• Must have hazmat & tanker endorsements or be willing to obtain prior to onboarding
  • Hillyard will assist with cost of obtaining hazmat endorsement
• No DUI/DWIs in last 5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 150 miles of St. Joseph, MO or be willing to relocate for this position
