Location : Scott Air Force Base, Illinois

Position : Part-time

Duties :

• Lead and coordinate music for all Catholic Masses, special services, and liturgical seasons, including rehearsals.
• Organize and manage the music calendar, ensuring proper selection and preparation of music for Sundays, Holy Days, and other special services like baptisms, penance services, and confirmations.
• Recruit, train, and conduct the choir and volunteer musicians, coordinating rehearsals and ensuring high-quality performances.
• Collaborate with the Catholic Priest on music selections and maintain all sheet music, hymnals, and related materials.
• Set up and break down the choir area for all rehearsals and performances.

Requirements :

• Strong fluency in Catholic liturgical music and practices, with a minimum of three years of experience as a Music Coordinator or equivalent experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in music or demonstrable ability in Catholic liturgical music as a substitute for formal education.
• Must be a practicing Roman Catholic in good standing, with Confirmation received.
