Key Responsibilities
Supervise and lead carpentry crews on active construction sites
Ensure all work meets company standards for quality, safety, and efficiency
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
Coordinate daily tasks and communicate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, and team members
Train, mentor, and evaluate carpenters and laborers
Monitor material usage, tools, and jobsite resources to minimize waste
Maintain compliance with all safety protocols and site regulations
Qualifications
Commercial carpentry experience required
5+ years of carpentry experience
OSHA 30 certification required
Previous supervisory or lead carpenter experience required
Strong knowledge of construction systems, building methods, and safety standards
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
