Bloomberg TV is seeking a part-time Assignment Desk Producer to join its U.S. newsgathering team in New York City. This team serves as the hub of the newsroom, providing critical editorial guidance, responding to breaking news, and coordinating coverage across Bloomberg TV’s global platforms.
This is a part-time role, focused on Friday-Sunday coverage, requiring the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across multiple platforms, including TV, digital, and radio.

Monitor and React: Track breaking news, assess its relevance, and provide real-time editorial guidance.
Shape Stories: Distill complex developments into compelling cross-platform narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
Coordinate Coverage: Collaborate with teams across TV, digital, and radio to ensure cohesive storytelling and efficient resource use.
Meet Deadlines: Thrive under deadline pressure while juggling priorities with poise and precision.
What You’ll Need:
3-5 Years of Newsroom Experience: Proven ability to handle breaking news and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Multimedia Proficiency: Familiarity with video production and strong understanding of how to integrate content across platforms.
Strong News Judgment: A passion for business, finance, and current affairs, paired with the ability to identify impactful stories.
Independent Work Ethic: Self-starter who can operate autonomously while maintaining clear communication and collaboration.
Exceptional Communication Skills: Clear and concise written and verbal communication to connect with teams and stakeholders.
