Job Description
Applicant will be responsible for monitoring animal care including vaccinating, microchipping, medicating animals in the shelter. Must have experience with handling cats and dogs. Computer skills needed- Animal Shelter Manager Software a plus. General housekeeping, inventory of shelter needs, working with the public for with screening adoption applications, problem solving and helping with events. You will assist the Executive Director with needed tasks. We are a 501-C-3 non profit animal rescue. Vacation pay after 1 year of employment. Review after 6 months. 4 days a week x 5 hours (Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday) There is a chance of additional hours in future.
