Job Title: After School Site Director

Job Status: Full-time

Location: Tracy, CA (In-person, no hybrid available)

Reports to: Area Director

Salary: $25-29/hour

Schedule: 10am-6:30pm Monday-Friday

Benefits: Full Medical

About Us:

Boys & Girls Clubs of Tracy is a non-profit organization providing youth mentoring, development and sports programs. We serve 27 locations in Tracy, Jefferson, Banta and Escalon Unified School Districts. We also serve over 3000 youth afterschool, and all-day on some school closure dates.

Mission Statement:  To inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need us the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Unit Director to lead our after-school youth enrichment site. In this role, you will report to the Area Director, and manage overall daily operations as needed. You will be instrumental in supervising and training staff (direct and indirect reports), handling personnel issues, as well as collaborate with the school district. This role includes occasionally outside training opportunities and will also require some cross-departmental communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create a club environment that facilitates achievement of Youth Development outcomes
• Plan, develop, and evaluate overall programs to ensure they meet member needs and interests.
• Ensure administrative and operational systems are in place, including use of facilities by outside groups
• Exercise authority in problems relating to members; utilize guidance and discipline plan
• Develop partnerships with parents, community leaders and organizations
• Develop and maintain public relations to increase the visibility of programs within the club and the community
• Purchase or approve purchase of supplies and equipment

Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-2 years of proven experience in a managerial position at an after-school program
• A.A. Degree or have earned 48 general credits from an accredited college. (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Possess organizational and leadership attributes to administer and promote programs of the Boys & Girls Club
• May require some heavy lifting (20lb-50lb+).
• Must provide verification of authorization to work in the United States
