Job Description

The Windy City ThunderBolts are a professional minor league baseball team in the Frontier League located in Crestwood, IL. and are looking for interns to help out with the day to day functions of the video board, TV broadcast and press box during the season that runs from May to early September.

Responsibilities

• Operate one of four cameras during the game.
• Assist in the set-up and take-down of each camera (duties are on a game to game basis)
• Assist in the green screen shoots for in-game promotions and player introductions
• Shoot interviews and game previews with the broadcast team for all home games
• Create graphics for use on game broadcasts
• Edit and put together highlight packages
• Assist in the general operations of the press box during games
• Work in a fast paced environment, outdoors in various weather conditions
• Other opportunities and duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Experience operating cameras
• General knowledge of the sport of baseball
• Ability to make most or all of the 48 Windy City ThunderBolts home games (May 9-August 31)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the sport of baseball and the flow of the game
• Experience operating cinema style cameras
• Experience working in a control room setting
